Data Deletion Instructions
_Last updated: August 19, 2026_
ReputeLift (operated by Martello Systems, LLC) lets businesses connect their Facebook/Meta Pages to retrieve and manage reviews. This page explains how to delete the data associated with your account, including any data we obtained through Facebook/Meta.
Delete only some of your data, and keep your account
You do not have to close your account to remove data, and you no longer have to ask us to do
it. Sign in and go to Dashboard → Settings → Your data. You will see each kind of data we
hold, with the real number of records in each, and you can tick the ones you want removed
and delete them yourself. It happens immediately.
You can remove your customers and review requests, your reviews and replies, your
conversations and messages, your AEO scans and queries, your connections and API keys, your
assistant settings and usage, and your notifications — in any combination. Your account, your
sign-in and everything you did not tick stay exactly as they are.
One exception, and it protects the people you message. Anyone who replied STOP to an SMS,
or who you placed on your do-not-contact list, is kept as a suppression record. Their name,
visit date, service and tags are erased along with everyone else's; what remains is the phone
number or email address and the opt-out itself. That is the only thing that stops us
contacting them again if the same list is imported later, so it is not yours to clear — the
same reason the inbound-message ledger is not. It applies to deleting one customer as well as
to the tick-box, and a newly imported contact inherits any opt-out already recorded against
their number or address.
Your business record, your billing record, your audit trail and the inbound-message ledger are
not in that list. Your business is the workspace everything else lives inside, so removing it
is full account deletion rather than a tick-box; the billing record holds the only handle on a
live subscription; and a record you can edit is not a record — the ledger is what stops a
message that arrives twice being handled, and charged for, a second time. **All of them are
included in your download**, and all of them are removed when you delete your account.
Prefer us to do it? Email [email protected] from the address on your account with the
subject line "Partial data deletion request". We may ask you to verify your identity
first, we complete these within 30 days, and the same retention exceptions below apply.
Download everything we hold
Dashboard → Settings → Your data → Download my data gives you one JSON file containing
every record listed above, including the ones that cannot be deleted on their own. Nothing we
keep while your account is open is hidden from you.
What you can delete
- Your ReputeLift account and login credentials
- Your connected Facebook/Meta Page authorization and any review data retrieved through it
- Business details, customer contact lists, review requests, and analytics stored under your account
How to request deletion
You have two options:
- Self-service. Sign in and go to Dashboard → Settings → Your data to download or delete your data, and disconnect any connected Facebook/Meta Page. Removing the connection revokes our access and deletes the review data retrieved from that Page.
- By email. Send a deletion request to [email protected] from the email address on your account, with the subject line "Data Deletion Request." Tell us whether you want your entire account deleted or only the data obtained from Facebook/Meta.
What happens next
- We will confirm your request and complete the deletion within 30 days.
- We delete or de-identify the personal data we hold for you, except where we are required to retain limited records to comply with legal, tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention obligations.
- Some information may persist in routine backups for a limited period before those backups are overwritten on their normal cycle.
Revoking Facebook/Meta access directly
You can also remove ReputeLift's access from your Facebook account at any time:
Facebook → Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites, then remove ReputeLift. This revokes our access going forward; email us at [email protected] if you also want the previously retrieved data deleted.
